After School Club – September 2024
Booking can now be made for our after-school club provision via ParentPay. Following a parent consultation and discussion with our governing body, bookings can now be taken for the dates required for the month, which means parents can book the provision on a flexible basis.
Please note, however, from September 2023, there will be no facility to book childcare after the closing date of 20th of each month.
Our After School Club have been exploring the school forest this week with Ms Lydon. They collected natural items and used these to make some beautiful artwork using pastels. Take a look at their colourful creations!
We are excited to welcome back children to our After School Club provision from September. Payment and bookings for each month will be accepted until the 20th of each month. After this time, you will not be able to book the provision for the following month for your child.
Your child’s place will not be confirmed until payment is received (cash or childcare vouchers) by the school office and a receipt will be provided for the payment via ParentPay.
If you currently pay for your childcare through a childcare voucher scheme, please continue to use the ParentPay facility however, please email proof of payment via the voucher used to the school office, bursar@bacup-st-saviours.lancs.sch.uk. Once payment has been received, your child’s place will be booked onto the register.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Wood (DHT and Extended Services Provision Lead) via the school office – please do not send queries via email.
Ms. Lydon is the main supervisor of our provision.
Our After School Club is run under the umbrella of the Governing Body and follows the policies and procedures of the school. The Club is open during term time Monday – Friday from 3.15pm until 5.30pm at a cost of £10.00 per session. The ratio of staff will always be a minimum of 1:14. Children can engage in activities of their choice, with a mixture of adult and child-led activities. Children are listened to and valued within the Club, which enables them to enjoy the session, feel safe and secure. We work in partnership with parents, we have a suggestion box for any comments. Children will be involved in group planning sessions where they are able to put forward their suggestions and interests for the ‘Activity Plan’.
