This week we are looking at homophones and near homophones.

Look at the list of homophones below and place each homophone into a sentence so it makes sense for the meaning of the word e.g.

List of words:

there, their, they’re, here, hear, sea, see, two, too, to.

Geography

To look at land use on your street.

Today we are going to learn about mapping a street to look at how the land has been used.   Using ‘Google Street Viewer’,   we are going to look at how our street has been built and the buildings that occupy our street. If possible, go for a walk with your family and make a note of all the buildings on your street – are they houses, shops, factories, and what type of house are there, whether are they detached, semi-detached, terraced, bungalows, flat. Whilst out walking or using ‘Google Street View’, make a map showing the land use around our house.

We are now great at keeping ourselves safe online. If someone new was to join our class, what are the most important pieces of advice you can give them? Create an information poster to share your advice in an interesting way.
